Btrieve File Sizes

I have a query re: Btrieve file sizes and would appreciate any advice you might have on this.

We use Pervasive 7 with service pack 5.

We have a file that gets a substantial amount of data added to it every day. The current size of the file is something like 2.5GB but as we are fairly early on in the year we think it's going to get a lot bigger.

My question is: Is there a limit to how big a btrieve file can get? Does anything strange start to happen once a file get to a certain size?

Yes, there are filesize limitations with PSQL 7. If I remember correctly, it is a 4GB limit.

PSQL 2000i has a much larger limit (64GB), so if you can, you should ocnsider upgrading.
