SOunds like the application is looking for a record that isn't there. The status 9 (end of file) means that there are no more records in the data file.
This really is more of a TAS Basics issue.
Depending on what's actually happening in the application, you may need to put new data into the file using what ever setup is required or possibly reinstall TAS Basics.
