You've got two errors in there. An error 2 (I/O error) and a 3012 (Local engine is not accessible to the MicroKernel router).
A few questions:
1. what version of Btrieve are you using?
2. Since this looks like a DOS app, are you starting BTRIEVE.EXE?
3. If you are starting BTRIEVE.EXE first, what version is it?
4. Does the error 3012 occur first or does the error 2 happen first?
I checked the server 2012 = PSQL version is 12.00.160
Java vesion 1.7.0_51
On the clients: (Win XP):
PSQL Version = Action PSLQ 12
They use a DOS based application (written in 1990) - named AVANTI -
In the server - there is folder called AVANTI where all the files and data are stored - There is BAT file named AVANTI.BAT which each client has a shortcut to this file.
Right clicked on it - EDIT - here is the commands:
echo off
cls
K:
cd\avanti
REM butil -stop
rem btrieve/m:48/p:2048/f:60/e/u:1/t:btrieve.trn
rem BDOSSTUB
pa00
REM butil -stop
About question 2 - I have no idea what are you talkin about lol - They used to click on that AVANTI.BAT shortcut - and work with the application. But now when they click - after 1 minute that ERRORS comes up.
Im pretty sure i have to rebuil something according to the error. but no clue how, which file, where!
I tried to restore backup on the server - it worked!!!!! but after 1 hour problem occurred again -
I tried to rebuild BTN files from PSQL rebuild - didnt work.
I can give you remote access (TeamViewer) if you need more info.
