im using the mkde - workstation edition 6.15.430
(the developer kit) for NT.

now my application has been migrated to a W2K-Terminal Server Environment and there it's not possible to start more than 5 client sessions because in the developer kit version of btrieve there's a limit of 5 concurrent users.
(error 133)

where do i get the runtime version?

Technically, developers were never allowed to deploy with the engine that was included in the SDK and that is why the 5 user limit is set in the product. Most developers purchased the UDL (Unlimited Distribution License) which was available at that time, but since Btrieve 6.15 is no longer available, you would have to use Pervasive.SQL 2000i which should support your application with no code changes at all in almost all cases. At the present time it is required to use the CSE (client/server engine) version on Terminal Server because the WSE/WGE (workstation or workgroup engine) versions are not tested or supported on Terminal Server yet and there are technical issues involved in getting those products properly set up and funtioning in a multi-user environment like TS. Please contact Pervasive Sofware ( salessupport@pervasive.com, or 1-800-BTR-IEVE) and ask for your area Sales rep and they will be able to assist you with a fully supported product which can be configured to support your application in the Terminal Server environment.
