Btrieve database linked to Visual Basic 5

I wish to link a Btrieve database to an application
in Visual Basic 6.0 or Access2000. Unfortunately the
ISAM-driver for accessing Btrieve-files are no longer
available in VB versions after 4.0 and Access vesions
after 2.0. I don't want to import the data.
The Btrieve-version is 5.0a and it runs in DOS.
Do anyone know any solutions for doing that?

If you upgrade your Btrieve drivers to at least version 6.15 you can use ODBC to access your data. The newest version Pervasive SQL 2000i is the latest version. But you cannot access btrieve data with version 5.x and 6.x or 7.x at the same time as this will cause problems. So you need to upgrade all users accessing the data.
