Btrieve 6.15--receive buffer

We're running Btrieve 6.15.445. While attempting to monitor Users in the Microkernel Active Users the message presents "Error getting information from the Microkernel Databse Engine. The receive buffer is too small." I'm not able to find any information on this at the Pervasive or Btrieve web sites, nor in the readme. Has anyone out there encountered this message before? If so, did it require any configuration change?

You need to update to 6.15.451. There was a problem with the Monitor where if you have more than 300 files (or handles, I think), you'll see that error message.

Another option is to upgrade to Pervasive.SQL 2000 (2 versions after 6.15). There are a lot of new features in 2000 including the fact that 2000 is supported where 6.15 hasn't been supported for something like 2 years.
The Monitor in 2000 is very different from the 6.15 Monitor. In 2000, you can use the Monitor on the client instead of having to run it at the server.
