Btrieve 6.15 help 1

My company developed a software using Btrieve 6.15 and the developer left us with no tools for reindexing a database that that reads error 9. I need these tools. Pervasive does not support this version and the website has no tools I could find. Can someone advise my where to find these tools or a program that could do this? Thank you.

A status 9 does not necessarily indicate a file that needs to be reindexed. The status 9 is an End of File Reached message. If there are more records based on that index, then the index might be corrupt. You can use BUTIL and issue a CLONE and COPY command to rebuild the file. You could also use a third party tool including the Btrieve Rebuild DLL (
