Btrieve 6.15 hangs when closing database on windows 2000 server

After moving our btrieve 6.15 database to a windows 2000 server we noticed it takes about 40 seconds to close the database if there are more than one user in the database.

We did not have this problem when the database was on a windows 98 machine.

All of our work stations are windows 98 machines.

One thing that we ran across when we moved from Novell to Windows 2000 was that we had to change the Btrieve setting Delete Lock Files to Off. For some reason if you try to delete the lock files it takes a long time. Gil
