I keep getting the error: "BTCPCOM-5: A TCP/IP recv() error (60) has occurred. The connection has been lost." I am running Novell netware 5.1. When this error occurs none of the users can access anything on the network. I do have 3 other novell servers on the network and they can not be accesed either. If we wait about 10 to 30 minutes users can access the network.I have increased the Maximum Record Locks Per Connection from 500 to 2000. This did not help. Any ideas as to what my be going on.

When you say "none of the users can access anything on the network", do you mean Btrieve/Pervasive resources or any resource (like a text file on the NetWare server? If it's any resource on the network, then the problem is your network and you need to address that. It wouldn't be something in Pervasive/Btrieve.
Also, what version of BTCPCOM are you using?

The version of btcpcom 7.9. Users can not access any resouces on the network. It was Novell's suggestion to increase the Maximum Record Locks Per Connection.

If users cannot access any resources on the Network, it really doesn't have anything to do with BTCPCOM (which is part of the Pervasive.SQL communication and really doesn't have anything to do with NetWare).

I have had the same issue however I have tested other resources on the network and it appears that only users working within in the pervasive database are affected. I would love to find out how to fix this since it requires a reboot of the server to restore the services. I have also already increased the Maximum Record Locks Per Connection and the problem still exists.
