It's a keycode option that BT in the UK have got Nortel to include. When that keycode option is set to 1 it causes some BT support user accounts to be setup. These accounts can't be deleted by the user, nor disabled. Those options are greyed out.
BT set that otpion to 1 for BCM systems they sell. I gather Nortel will change it back to 0 if asked.
As ccarmock has stated, the standard Nortel default login account of nnadmin is then given a lower status. You can't delete or alter any other account and you won't have remote access either!.
The only way to restore the default accounts is to see if you can access the restore section and load ONLY the factory default security settings. This will remove all the accounts and provide you with the normal Nortel ones.
If your system is Maintained by BT then leave the Race Keycode ACCOUNT alone.
This is set up in all BT Maintained systems with Secure Remote access to the system.
The nnadmin account is yours to change.
The bt remote access account is thiers to connect remotley
The btsupport account is for the local engineer to connect on site.
