I have a client that is running one of these devices on a windows client/server network the problem that i am have is that the Hub stops trusting the server on a regular basis unless i setup the server to get its ip via dhcp from the hub, now that is not ideal because i want the server to have a static ip and i want to run dhcp etc on the server, i also want to control the ip that the server sits on, i have tried all ways to configure this with the help of bt as well but the thing is a total pain so the qustion i have is how easy is it to replace the hub with an equivalant router and also get the voip features working on the new router as well i now any adsl router will work but the possible stumbling block will be the voip because our client does use that, any suggestions would be a great help.

Can you give the hub a static IP?

Yes a router or a managed switch will work but make sure you can configure QoS.
