BT 512KBps connection - very slow

Hello,

I have recently had a bt broadband connection installed, it is really slow, like dial up slow!!

I have the standard kit that you get free with the line to connect, I know that I can do speed tests but that will not resolve the issue, Any ideas?

Couple of question. When do you use it. Dont forget the possible 50:1 contention with BT home use. In theory knocking you down to 10k link in worst case.

You need to do a speed test just to confirm how slow you are going.

at least you can get broadband...........i hate dial up!!!
