After installing ATI AllInWonder 128 card and latest drivers for W2K from the ATI web site I get BSOD when trying to change display properties.
Message is: DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONS.
ADDRESS: BCC26A18 BASE: BCC26A18 DATESTAMP: 00000000
CAUSED BY VGA.DLL

I had used this card without trouble in WIN98. When I installed W2K about 5 months ago I couldn't get this to work and installed a Diamond Stealth III w/o problems.
I wanted to try again with the ATI because of the TV and Video features and thought maybe there are new drivers available that would work. (Wrong again grasshopper).

I found a thread in this forum from May of this year but was not able to successfully implement any sugestions from there.

Does anyone have any ideas, sugestions, threats to ATI, etc.???

If not, I do have another Win98 box I could put this in, so it reallly wouldn't break my heart, but I would prefer to have it in my W2K machine.

Here's my setup:
ABIT KT7A-RAID mobo (Original BIOS - never flashed)
AMD Athlon 1.2Ghz (NOT overclocked)
768 Meg Ram
W2K with SP2 installed
DirectX 8.1
SONY Multiscan 200SX Monitor

Thanks

Ed

BTW this is a PCI card, NOT AGP.
Please let me know if the sugestion(s) I provide are helpful to you.
Sometimes your the windshield... Sometimes your the bug.

I'm running the ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder 32MB AGP card on my Win2k Server. When I initially installed the card, I could only logon with standard VGA. There was a release note in the box, stating that Windows 2000 support requires updating to DirectX 8.01. You should find a reference to this at ATI's web site. Or, go to microsoft.com and download the latest DirectX.
