BSOD when other machine access's FTP sites

I have 2 win2k machine here, one is the dial up server running ICS. it has recently starting blue screening with various errors (its something differnt every time) whenever the other PC tries to access an FTP site.
Anyone have any suggestions before i just give up and format it?

Is there anything in the event viewer to suggest what might be causing the blue screen. What were some of the various errors you were getting? Hewissa

event viewer comes up with 2 red x symbols at the time of the crash :

Unable to query the IIS Info service performance data. The error code returned by the service is data DWORD 0.

There are no FTP or IIS services running on any of the computers however.
