Hello,
Every now and then We are having BSOD followed by an ASR.
this happens on different servers that happen to be all DL380 G2 servers (also this happened on a DL380 G1)
more info:
Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0xA00159A8, 0x00000001, 0x7FFDC034))
Os : W2K SP2 + several hotfixes

How can investigate where these blue screens come from, What causes them,...

All help is apreciated in advance of course

Bart

I have had this problems with the new G2's and have found that on most occasions this has been due to faulty memory. It appears that some suppliers ship the "old memory" for the Proliant DL380 and not the newer DL380 G2.

Thanx ChisRAnthony

I will investigate some further in that direction.
but the same BSOD appears on G1 DL380's to.

grrrrr

When you look to the memory adress range it seems to be in the pci region and/or the ATI region....

We only have Gigabit compaq nics inserted in the slots (and some have 5300 controllers too)
