Hi all

I have a really urgent issue. I have just finished setting up 6 new exchange servers (spread across two sites - 3 at each site) everything as far as exchange is concerned is working fine. But all 6 servers keep Blue screening and rebooting on a regular basis atleast once a day at random times. I have looked through the even logs in great detail but can not see what is causing the reboot. I have updated all the drivers and all windows updates applied. These are HP servers x64 and have windows 2003 x64.

After the reboot a mini dump is produced but I cant open them. I have downloaded the windows debugging tools and symbols but unable to debug the dump files. I really dont have the time to learn all this debugging stuff. I would be extermely greatful if someone was able to open this mini dump file and tell me what is causing the reboots or atleast decode the dump file and let me analyse it.

Many thanks.

F.

Hi Illogicallylogical. That is the proglem the server reboots, even if I tell it not to reboot on crash it still reboots. Can I email you the mini-dump file, please.

Thanks

F

Try disabling the option to autoreboot on a Stop error from within Windows or within safe mode. Once it blue screens it will stop at the blue screen and you can record the message
Question though.. are all servers built from the same image or are you using a different image. If all six are failing, is it possible that you have an incompatibility in regards to the HAL or another device not on the image.
Hope this helps.
