I keep getting the BSOD reading this error message below. I have not installed hardware or software recently so I am clueless. I can only get into safe mode with command prompt. Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks Greg

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated.

Follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new install, ask your manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hard or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and then select safe mode.

Here is a little bit of information on that error.

Windows XP stops responding when you click or resize a window, or in Windows Server 2003, when you run many console applications, you receive a Stop error message: "0x000000F4"
