Here's my issue: Last night asked my computer to go to sleep when I woke up this morning, BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
Any suggesting as to what is causing this?

Thanks in advance.

A driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state. Typically occurs during events that involve power state transitions, such as shutting down, or moving into or out of standby or hibernate mode.

I know I've read of lots of problems with various OEM computers and retail motherboards with sleep mode and more particularly hibernation. I know that with some motherboards I've used or worked on, I just disabled the hibernation feature altogether, as it just seemed to be slower than shutting down and restarting anyhow.

Try disabling the hibernation feature in Windows, and that alone should fix it, I would think. But likely, as the links above seem to allude to (by title), it could just be a driver for one piece of hardware or possibly even for another program.

I know that I had trouble with my computer going into "sleep" mode because of an HP Printer driver. I would come back to the message "HP blablabla not allowing computer to go to sleep" - well, something like that. [wink]
