I am studying for the BSCI exam, and have came to IS-IS. I was just curious to know how much of IS-IS is on the exam? I am taking the Cisco Networking Academy courses, so hopefully I will be ready to take the test in a month or so.
i can only say this: know it inside and out. The same goes for OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, multicast, router functions, and IPv6. I know this answer wasn't the least bit helpful, but if it is listed in the exam topics then you flat out need to know it regardless if there's one question or 10 questions on the exam. You don't want to be a paper CCNP.
I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

He and I might get 1 or 2 questions on IS-IS, but you could get 10 - the test is not adaptive but it is a radom selection from all the topics that only Cisco knows how they are selected.
I was told at a Cisco Networkers convention that most of the test banks have 400 to 1,000 questions in them with slightly different versions of almost all questions!!!
