Just a quick one. How do you get round or square (can't remember which) brushes from the brush palette? I know that one of them isn't there.

Similarly, why do the brushes appear to have some sort of a feathering in them when painting over other images?

Sorry this is a touch vague, but I haven't got the program with me at the moment.

In PS 6
-->click the paint brush tool
-->Up near the title bar you'll see the current brush
-->Click the arrow next to the current brush
-->Choose the brush you want

I think you are getting the feathering from the type of brush you are using.

Also, when you click the drop down arrow to choose your brushes there will be another drop down arrow on that menu. Click this and choose "Load Brushes". This will open a window where you can load the different brushes that came with PS but were not loaded by default.
