Hello all,

I just noticed today that Firefox seems to put a good 10-15 pixels of padding above header tagged text while IE (I'm testing in IE6) does not. Interestingly, Dreamweaver adds this space above the text also.

Is this a known issue? Any suggested work-arounds? I'm trying to get my HTML to line up with a background image and this issue is causing problems when viewed in IE.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Scott

what are u using?tables?
most likely you need to look in direction of setting padding for body,cell or div depeding what you are using to build your 'header'.
All the best!

Default browser properties for IE and FF are different - just specify them when you open your <body> tag.
Code:
<body style="margin:0; padding:0;">
