Browsing to MX-One?

I recently set up an MX-One 3.1 SP2 test server using the ESU recovery DVD - All went to plan and I went through the installation 'interview' via a browser. This then created the .XML file and it's now up and running (single LIM system). My MD110/MX-One knowledge is pretty poor so I got someone to give me a few commands to get a couple of IP Phones registered, again this is working fine and I now have two Ericsson IP handsets registered.
I thought I would go back into the server via the browser but I can no longer log in. The logon screen is there and I have attempted the root account, the 'eri_sn_admin' account but neither let me log in. I can login at the console (or SSH) using the root account. I have looked via Yast and there are 3 users defined 'Ericsson', 'eri_sn_admin' and 'eri_sn_d'. I don't know what is available via the WEB GUI however I would like to be able to get to it. What do I need to do to enable this?

Andy

to login to the WEB GUI, called wbm (= eri_om service) you must use the Ericsson user, password is the same as the user.

I tried logging in with the 'Ericsson' username and I just get a 'Unknown user or wrong password. Please try again.'

did you try user = Ericsson, password = Ericsson (mind the casing!)

Its in MS Virtual Server 2005 and I cloned the installation right at the point where you start configuring the initial IP address so it's quick and easy to get another server built if need be.

I decided to rebuild the server as I did hit a stumbling block when initially going through WEB setup (/ICT). I went through it this time and everything went without a hitch. The only issue was whether to select 'Linux Account' or 'Manager?' where you specified an IP address of the 'manager'?. The help referred to another Application so I selected Linux Account.
I let it finish the installation and added a few generic extensions and now have them registered. However I still can't log in via the WEB GUI?

Any more clues?

Andy

the 'manager' in the ICT tool is for 'manager provisioning' a new tool that will be able to interface with multiple MX-One applications. On the first Tab (General) of the ICT tool it has asked you to specify the "Manager Telephony system user" and "Manager Telephony system password" + confirmation. this is the user you need to login with, NOT the linux users used by the telephony system.

Yes that's what I thought. I entered a username of 'Ericsson' along with the same password but it wouldn't let me log in...
Since I have this now as a MS VHD image it takes all of about 10 minutes to get a new server up and running so I'll go through the install again when I get chance (some work has just come in that I need to deal with....).

Cheers

Andy
