Is anyone else having problems browsing files with the Netware clientpack 4.2?

Strange things are happening. For instance:
If I start a recovery.
Expand a volume (VOL1:)
- All the files are there
Collapse VOL1:
Expand SYS:
- All the files are there
Collapse SYS:
Expand VOL1:
- no files

Also:
If I change the browse time, no files are listed.

I know the files were backed up, and I know the client indexes are fine. It just seems that the browsing is broken in the client.

I get this in 4.15 as well. I crrently have an open case with Legato. They tried to say that it was due to a lack of system resources when trying to browse the index, but I do not believe that. I get the exact same problem when doing directed recoveries from any of five different Netware machines. They belive I need to do some tweaking to get it to work right. I am waiting for them to tell me exactly what more needs to be tweaked.

There is a workaround, though. I have not been able to get it to work with 4.2, though they tell me it is supposed to work. Using client 4.15, press f2, change selection while in the browse window. Type in the path to the file/folder you need and it will magically appear. You can do this with 4.15 on another client if you don't want to downgrade the one you're doing the restore to. Just do a directed recovery.
