hi,

I'm having a problem with users being able to browse each others home directories. I check the permissions of each folder and I see full access or everyone.

Anyone point out where I set default permission to allow access only to that user?

thanks

To fix existing users
for each user's folder remove the "everyone" group and add in the username giving full rights etc etc for each folder

For new users
The root directory that contains the home directories should also have the everyone set to "list folder contents" only" and set this folder to NOT inherit permissions from higher up folders. Now when new users and homedir are created only the user will have full access to their own folder

brilliant I'll try that, thanks for the help.
