Evaluating SUSE 8.2 for use in Network environment. I know nothing about Linux. Can access internet, but can not access network, even though prompted for password to access. is there a way to browse the network? thanks.

To use Novell, try using the Novell Client. Never tried it, but I would start there.

For Windows machines use LinNeighborhood or by hand type smbclient -L name_of_pdc -U username%password

What version of NetWare are we talking about here? If your using NetWare 6, NW6 comes with a feature that will make the NetWare server mimic an NFS server.
