browser window

Can anyone tell me how I can make the browser window the fit the SWF file exactly, and lock the window size so the user cannot alter the shape or size of the window?

Any info would be appreciated.

If I understand you correctly, to achieve what you want, you'll have to embed your movie in a popup window, so that it can be set to be not resizable!
You can do this from your index.html with javascript, or if you want to do it from Flash, have a look at this faq250-697.
