Browser will not open 1

I can connect to my ISP but IE nor Firefox can connect to the internet. I can ping my ip address but no other address. Message I get is IE/Firefox can not find server. I ran Ada-ware found a lot of adware but still isn't working. Any help would be appreciated.

WHEN EVER YOU RUN AN ADWARE/SPYWARE SCANNER AND IT GETS DONE, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS RESTART YOUR COMPUTER BECAUSE IT REFRESHES YOUR REGISTRY.

What operating system are you running? I had the same issue on Windows XP Pro.


I just reinstalled and it fixed the problem...

If no anti-adware programs work, you might have to reinstall your opearting system because the IP protocols can get messed up...
