Browser unable to retrieve a list of servers

Hi,

I have a W2000 Adv Server Network and I'm now recieving the following error:

Source: Browser
Event ID: 8021

The browser was unable to retrieve a list of servers from the browser master on the network \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{8615898A-3088-4DAF-B776-65D27D5798DE}. The data is the error code.

Your help in resoving this is greatly appreciated.

Is your server multi homed? if so unbinding all but one of the network cards to see if this solves the problem, I ve seen this a few times and reported it to MS I dont think they have a solution yet but they list that workaround on the following url.

Try stopping the browser receiving lists from other machines by running the command prompt and typing net stop browser, this is also listed as a work around by microsoft but not a solution imo.
