I have Lycos sidesearch bar popping up every time I open an IE browser window. I've tried everything including Internet options, adding lycos.com to the AdsGone list of blocked servers - to no avail.
How do I permanently remove it?
Thanks.

Did you try just clicking on the SEARCH icon on the toolbar to just close it?

Sorry...rushed the advice. Try this, from the Lycos site:

"To uninstall Sidesearch, please go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. Highlight “Lycos Sidesearch” and click on “Change/Remove”."
