If I have "JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled" checked in IE settings under "Microsoft VM", does that mean that ALL java applets will run faster in my browser because they are compiled to native code before being run?
I noticed there is no such option available under the SUN heading, it only has a box labeled "use java 2". Does that mean that if I use Sun's VM instead of Microsoft's, that it'll run slower than by using a JIT compiler? Apparently Sun doesn't produce a JIT compiler huh?
And since the checkboxes arent mutually exclusive, what if both the microsoft and Sun java settings are checked?
