browser problems 1

I am using basically an imagemap for my website with the ability of a paypal shopping cart. In internet explorer the website looks fine, when i open it with firefox the images are displaced. If anyone has both browsers -- can you try to explain to me why the images are doing this and if there is an easy way to rectify this problem.

Have a look at sorting the validation errors first - they will force browsers into quirks-mode, which is unpredictable for layout between browsers.

Then consider using css for layout, and reserve the use of tables for tabular data

I appreciate the help. It was actually a mouseover effect that was causing the error in Firefox.. Explorer chose to ignore this as it was improper coding. Thanks for the help.

Q, Have you seen what a search engine sees on your site? You need to redesign your pages to incorporate some real text if you're going to get any search engine traffic.

Also, is that Chatham, Kent in England, or somewhere in the New World. Your site doesn't give many clues. It might confuse somebody searching - except that they aren't going to find your site anyway.
