Browser/platform issues with loadvariables?

Hi all
We've discovered that some visitors to our site can't get our database search to work, even though the rest of the flash site works fine. We use some loadvariables commands with POST, which, according to a flash 4 readme, isn't compatible with MACs. We use flash 5, so I don't know if that's still a problem. Does anyone know if there are incompatibilities with differnet platforms/browser combinations that would stop flash loading to and from an ASP?
