Browser Logon

i have got a TZ 170, and I am unable to logon to it through the IE Browser, i have tried at the server, and at workstations on the network with no joy.

I do have another sonic firewall in the network which is fine, and i can logon to it.

I have tried re-booting it, but with no joy.

Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.
 
Did you by any chance chage the managment ports? By default they are 80 and 443. Have you tried accessing it via http and https?

I have also found that sometimes you need to leave them unplugged for up to minute in order for them to "fully reset".

Have you created a backup of the setting in the firewall or have you exported the setting to a file by any chance?

If you remove power from the sonicwall, then press in the rest button then plug power back in while still holding in the reset button. Then wait for the config light to start flashing and let the reset button go. This should put the sonicwall into its safe mode. From there you can login to it and reload the backup firware. NOTE: I believe the sonicwall will take the IP address of 192.168.168.168 rather then what it was changed to.
