Browser Compatibility Issues IE6 and IE7

I am building a website for a friend and have the basic layout working fine in IE7. However in IE6 the white background does not extend across to the right hand column and I haven't figured out how to fix this. Can anyone help me on this one? The website is on a test URL at:

How wide is the page (in pixels) compared to the screen resolution in use?

check your stylesheet settings for that column

The website width is 770px, I am viewing on a resolution of 1024 x 768. I have checked the stylesheet and cannot see anything wrong, which is why I was hoping someone else might spot something that I've missed. Any ideas?

I forgot to mention, the site displays fine in Mozilla Firefox 2.0 as well, it's just IE6 tht's causing the problem.
