I have been having trouble with a certain website, but thought it was their problem until I found a second site causing a possibly related problem. Now I'm wondering if it's my browser.

I'm running IE6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2 on XP.

This is the site I was originally having trouble with:

It's not easy to show the problem, you have to register and it redirects back to this page with a comments box. The comments box is apparently in an invisible DIV. I do not see the box.

The other site I just found is here:

Apparently, the textboxes in that dotted box should not be visible. I can see three blocks of text, red green and blue in that box.

So, is there something wrong with my browser?

No. The second example is an example of the :target pseudo class, which is at the moment not supported by IE. Since that page is just a presentation of the powers of this class, it does not degrade nicely in browsers that do not support it. That's why you see the page the way you're not supposed to.

As for the first page, I assume it must be their coding problem as well, but I am not going to register just to confirm that my IE would do the same.
