Browse password protected sites

I'm not about to try this at work, but it looks pretty disturbing at first glance. Surely this can't work?

Sure, if the site is designed to allow google-bots to browse it's 'secured' areas.

Well, will work for those sites who use google results to get you into their pages and then ask you to pay or register ...
