Ok here is the layout and what has been changed. We have a resource domain local with PDC local. We have vlans setup around the local facility. Computers were members of this resource domain. Here recently computers and servers have been migrated to a a master domain which the AD DCs are not local to site. Since then we can not brose the full domain, all that shows up in the browse list is the computers on that subnet/vlan. So if you go to a different vlan you see what is on that vlan. We do have a firewall and we have opened all ports between the vlans and the "PDC" that browstat shows as the PDC for the new domain. Does anyone have a clue as to why the browse masters are not replicating to make a full browse list?

From what I understand the browse list in Windows Explorer is created with WINS and with broadcast traffic when WINS isn't available. If you want the browse lists to cross either AD domains or broadcast domains you need to use WINS replication in order to do this.

Before i go too far down the path of further explanation can you confirm that you are not currently running WINS and that the problem started when you split of the broadcast domains?

We are using WINS have always used WINS, I have looked in wins at the 1Bh record for the new master domain and it is the same as the "PDC".
