on my web site, users can download documents and things.
I'd like a browse button to pop up so they can choose the directory where they want to download to. how can i do this

Is there no manual way to do it.
i know you can do "input type="file" but that doesn't help when selecting a folder.
I don't really want the users to have to type in a path name

sorry, you see what happens
my users select what files the want, and I have an FSO that sends them to a directory.

but the user has to type in the directory path - which can go wrong if they forget slashes and colons.

what i want is a browse button so they can visually select the directory

does this clarify it?
