Brower error message in windows98

Hi,

I got this error message while in win98.

"Browser caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.dll at 018f: bff9db61."

Please help.

As you didn't specify your browser version, I'm left guessing. Please check out these articles:

Run a thorough virus scan, as well as downloading SpyBot (

and sweeping your pc for malware.
Provide some more info if these don't work for you. Version of IE, any circumstances surrounding when this started, what you are doing when this error pops up, etc.
You may have picked up a virus, you may have a conflict with another program, you may need to repair IE, .... just for starters.
