Brother printer stops recieving output

Hi

I have a Brother printer on my network.

It works fine initially but eventually when I try to print something the output just sits in the print queue.

The printer is still showing in my printer list as the default.
To get round it I have to remove the printer from the printer list, re-add it and re-send the output.
It then prints fine again for a while.

Anyone know why this is happening?

next time it happens try stopping and restarting the print spooler (services) on the PC where the printer is installed? It wont fix your problem permanantly but will stop you having to resend the output. I sometimes have to do this with one of the print servers here at work, not sure if its NT and the printer drivers or too many network printers installed on the print server?
