Brother Printer pages printing with gray background 1

I have a Brother printer I have changed the drum and toner but the pages are still coming out with a grayish black background anyone have any suggestions

Sounds like a defective bias connection. Clean contacts on the drum and toner units with alcohol, both line and load sides.
If this is a "recharged" unit, return it.
