Hail, I'm web developer and want to browse my localhost with my mobile phone.
My mobile phone is Sony Erricson w810i, and can connecto to my pc with USB cable.
I want to load the designingpage in my localhost in my phone.
In my pc I type in browser

http://localhost/

and see the my web server processed data.
For example if my phone connected to my pc with TCP/IP and have a IP. I type in my mobile

http://125.32.201.12/

(symbolic IP) and want to see the web server on my pc.

One of us is confused by what localhost is.

My understanding is that it is always the ;oopback interface of the device you are on, in this case the phone. You sound as if you want it to be some other device.

where x.x.x.x is the ip address of the pc
