Brooktrout Sr140 software and IP office 406

I need to get an IP Office 406 talking to a Brooktrout SR140 fax server. I know that the IP Office 406 does not support T38 and have been told to check if the IP Office 406 supports G.711 which brooktrout can use to communicate.
Does the ip 406 support g.711 and should I use SIP or H323 to get this working?
Has anyone seen got IP 406 working with Brooktrout SR140 successfully (with G.711)?

Yes it supports G711 and can do either SIP or H323, SIP would be dependant on what firmware it's running
