Broken recd audio in SKYPE

XP PRO on 12. ghz PC

I have dial-up. 36k, max. Received audio is broken up.

Please note: I also have a voip application for ham radio called ECHOLINK. It works perfectly.

What can I expect for Skype?

Wow a 12 GHz PC, wish I had one of those.
I dont think you will have much luck with a dialup even if it were 50k.But try it with a dedicated port on your router to avoid super-nodes and dont skimp on the mic/headphones.

They say 36k min should work. Wonder what ECHOLINK is so much better?
