Broken Print Job Manager and Printer manager on SCOadmin

Hi,

UNIXWARE 7.1.1 - have managed to engineer a situation where any of the print/printer related tools in SCOadmin hang on me, ostensibly by deleting a printer in printer manager. Log files include
/etc/lp/logs/lpsched.1 reporting:

UX:lpsched: ERROR: Failed to exec child process (No such file or directory)

and the syslog offering
Jun 14 11:43:02 mdfj syslog: SCOADM: localhost {sco_id-oc-printer} {hp4100Fin065} error SCO_OFACE_MSG_ERROR {error {{SCO_OSA_ERR_PROCESSING_FAILURE {General failure occured in processing the request.}} {SCO_NONSTD_CMDS_ERR_accept {UX:accept: WARNING: Destination "hp4100Fin065" was already accepting.

Any clues as to how I can resolve this would be more than gratefully received.
