Broken Pipe

We are still using mercator 5.0 for Lawson applications.

We are getting error message "Broken Pipe: Mercator Adapter failed". Anyone who have seen this message before?

We are in the process of moving to Websphere but that is still a year ahead. Appreciate any help on this.

I thought Lawson went to 6.0 around 2000/2001. At least I was in a training class or two with a Mercator/Lawson developer.

What platform? Unix? MF?

Are you using TIB/Rendezvous?

Sounds like your having a connection or adapter problem.

The latest really is using websphere datastage but we are still a year to get there. Our version is not supported either. What we did is cloned our development box into a totally separate box. All naming convention are the same including all types of configuration settings. We tested all
aspect of the environment and applications and everything ran perfectly until I decided to test the mercator part. I think the error is when it tried to call the data transformation engine. We are Unix/sun solaris platform.

My next step is to ask the admin to redo any symbolic link if any.
