Broken mailbox move

I tried to move a mailbox from one server to a different server. At some point in the process it failed. I now have the working mailbox on server 2 and half a mailbox on server 1. If I try to Purge the mailbox on server 1 it tells me that the mailbox is mid replication and to try again later. Now unless mailbox moves have suddenly started to take a week, it most definitely is not mid replication!

How can I get rid of this duff mailbox?
