BroadCast Waring Messages

We are an educational site. We have a number of weather warnings, etc that we would like to have the abililty to use our phone system to let our users know about current weather conditions.
Our pbx is a NEAX 2000 IVS, is there a way to dial a number and then push the voice SoftKEy to announce current conditions to our employees.

You can setup an internal page group. You could set all your phones to allow background music then play your announcements across the phones, or speak to your NEC rep. NEC has several new things available for campus type environments.

Background music is probably the best way to do this.
