broadcast messaging with Micros

Hi there.

Does anyone know if it's possible to send broadcast messages to all terminals of a micros system? the majority of the termials will be UWS 3 but there will be a few UWS4 and PCWS'

Manybe there is a 3rd party application that can do this?

I know this can be done with UWS4 with a Micors sim.

Reference your 9700 SIM manual...should be in your documents directory (9700_MAN_SIM.pdf). In particular, look at the "sendsim" utility that lets you send messages to 1 or more workstations by including a SIM script that responds to the messages. Details are in Appendix F of the manual. The examples should get you going in the right direction
