Does anyone know how the broadcast message is distributed? Is it by name, number or some random Nortel algorithm?

You can build groups of numbers and just use one number for the group or you can put in individual numbers. It's flexable.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear, after you create a message for broadcast distribution what method is used to deliver that message? We have a 61C with about 800 users, it took about 45 minutes to deliver the broadcast. Is that normal?

Yes that is about the normal, It takes time to send a broadacast message system wide. When I send out broadcasts I wait till late night or early am to send the message out. The system is not as busy and the message will go quicker. I have 1100 users on my system and it took 20 minutes to deliver a message that was 2 minutes long to all 1100 users.

the broadcast will take place in dn order, the len of msg times the number of mb divided by the number of channels.. cp does a file copy about 10 times faster
